W.S.A.P Barracudas

My name is Shawn, and as a passionate and now experienced swim coach, I am excited to lead the Cudas as the head coach for the 2025 summer season. I've been a part of the Baracuda family since I was a little Cuda at 9 years old. Through my competitive swimming career, I have set multiple community pool records, multiple GGSL league records, swam with the Northwest Jaguars to set multiple team records and to have qualified as a junior olympic swimmer. I am now dedicated to helping our swimmers improve their skills, build confidence, and foster a love for the sport.

My coaching philosophy emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual growth, ensuring that every swimmer feels supported and motivated to reach their full potential. I am committed to creating a fun and inclusive team environment where swimmers of all levels can thrive. I am looking forward to a fantastic summer with the Team and am excited to see our swimmers shine in the pool!

Hi my name is Elaine Hill. I will be The Assistant Head Coach for the Barracudas for 2025. I joined the Barracudas in 1988 when my oldest son was 8 and stayed with the team and became head coach throughout the years until my youngest son was 18. I also coached at NWHS swim and dive team and winter swim. I have a background in hospital nursing for 32 years and taught nursing at Einstein HS and Montgomery college. I have experience teaching all ages of swimmers. I look forward to seeing you this summer.

Hey ‘Cudas! I’m Coach Rhoman, and I’ve been with the Barracudas since I was 13 years old. From my time on the team to coaching, I’ve always loved working with both new and returning swimmers, helping them improve their skills, and making sure we have a fantastic season. I’ve spent a couple of years as a junior coach, served as an assistant coach, and now I’m back as one of the assistant coaches for this year’s team. I’m currently finishing up my Senior year at Colgate University, and can’t wait to work with everyone soon!
